★★★★★ “There are lots of gift ideas here. People who live to do crafts, this is the store for you. Employees are extremely helpful, but they are busy so you might have to get their attention. Not a big deal, enjoy”

22 reviews of Hobby Lobby “We’ve picked up some really attractive things here at a great price. Sales are constant so if the item you want isn’t on sale one week, it will be the next (and typically 50% off). The staff aren’t as friendly as in many other shops around here, and you may have to search hard to get someone to assist you. We’ve never had any problems with returns.”
Ed S.’s review of Hampton Inn Mobile-I-10/Bellingrath Gardens
My first time staying at Hampton Inn. It made one heck of a first impression.
We were promptly greeted by the desk clerk. The check-in process went smoothly and quickly. We checked in around 6:30 pm, so instead if going directly to our room, we decided to enjoy happy hour. Each guest can have up to 3 "adult" beverages along with chips & salsa, hot dogs & chili. As we only stayed one night, I can't say if the happy hour menu changes each day
Our room was spotless and spacious. For some reason we were assigned to a handicapped room. It struck us as odd the room was significantly down the hall from the elevators. We had a refrigerator, coffee maker & a small microwave. The bedding was extremely comfortable. The hallways were quiet. The hotel posts a "no pet" policy, yet they had a picture of a dog inside the elevator and we did see a guest leave the hotel with a rather large dog.
The only suggestions I would make would be for softer towels (ours were rather scratchy)and perhaps a robe. I also noted while there was clean slips in the closet there was no laundry bag.
While others have posted about the breakfast, I can't comment. I slept right through it. I blame those comfortable mattresses! Thankfully, coffee is served 24/7 and they left fruit for stragglers like me.
We can certainly recommend this Hampton Inn and we'll be sure to try others on our road trips.
